14U / 16U / 18U
Welcome to NHSelects, where your journey to elite hockey performance begins. Our National Bound hockey program is meticulously designed to elevate your skills, enhance your game understanding, and prepare you for the next level of competition. We pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive development model that integrates the latest training techniques, professional coaching, and personalized feedback.
Our players learn how to perform as confident, skilled individuals inside a team concept where accountability to their role is a priority. It is through repetitive flow drills, small area games and practice plans designed to represent game like situations that our players achieve a higher level of Hockey IQ allowing for player advancement to the next levels.
16U/18U: During the tryout we will identify those who will play HS and those who will not choosing one of the three options below.
- Option 1 - Full Season team
- Option 2 - Split Season team
- Option 3 - Split Season team with optional Winter Development Academy

Our Development Model

Power Edge Pro (PEP)
Power Edge Pro is a cutting-edge hockey training system that focuses on Reactive Countering Training™, a method that replicates the unpredictable nature of game situations. PEP’s innovative training techniques emphasize agility, quick decision-making, and advanced puck-handling skills. By incorporating PEP into our development model, we ensure that our players not only improve their physical abilities but also their mental sharpness and in-game awareness.
GDS Goalie Training
Our GDS Goalie training program is specifically tailored for goaltenders, providing specialized coaching that addresses the unique demands of the position. The GDS approach combines technical drills, situational play, and mental conditioning to help goalies enhance their reflexes, positioning, and overall game performance. With GDS, our goalies receive the focused training they need to excel on the ice.
Professional Coaching
At NHSelects, we believe that great coaching makes great players. Our team of professional coaches brings a wealth of experience from various levels of competitive hockey. They are dedicated to providing personalized instruction and mentorship, ensuring that each player receives the guidance they need to reach their full potential. Our coaches are not only skilled in teaching the technical aspects of the game but also in fostering a positive and motivating environment.
Video Review and Analysis
Understanding your performance and identifying areas for improvement is crucial for development. That's why we incorporate regular video review sessions into our training program. Using the latest video analysis technology, our coaches break down game footage to provide players with detailed feedback on their performance. This allows players to see their strengths and weaknesses firsthand and develop a deeper understanding of the game.
