POWER EDGE PRO CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

Reactive Countering Training

R.C.T™ separates good players from great ones by focusing on the nuanced inside game. It Unlocks each player’s full potential through a proven innovative training methodology that mirrors the demands of today’s game.

Players like Connor McDavid are prime examples of how this translates to the ice. By seamlessly executing complex Reactive Countering Training™ (R.C.T.) maneuvers involving synchronized foot and hand movement, Reactive Puck Placement™, and lightning-fast reaction times, these athletes consistently outmaneuver defenders, create offensive opportunities, and dominate the game.

Reactive Countering Training™ focuses on the often-overlooked but crucial ability to “Fire Multiple Motor Skills Simultaneously”—a key element for mastering the high-speed, inside-game skills essential in today’s hockey.

Become a student of the game

At NH Selects Academy, being a student of the game is more than just a phrase—it’s a mindset. It means approaching every practice, game, and film session with a hunger to learn and improve. Players are encouraged to study the finer details of their craft, from mastering fundamentals to understanding advanced strategies, fostering both skill and hockey IQ. This commitment to continuous learning sets athletes apart and prepares them for success on and off the ice. At The NH Selects, the drive to grow as a player and person is at the heart of every accomplishment.
